Dear Neighbors: I hope this finds everyone well and enjoying the beautiful spring weather. As you recall from our last meeting in February, we decided it would be beneficial to hold informal quarterly community meetings to share information and discuss any particular issues of interest or concern to you. We would like to have our next meeting on Tuesday, May 13, from 6:30 - 8:00 pm., in conference room 1.432 (first floor) of the 1599 Clifton Road building, where we met the last time. Please extend this invitation to others in your neighborhood who may want to participate. Start: 7:00 pm

Shamrock Middle School Media Center Charlie Hendon, owner of North DeKalb Mall, will host a community meeting to show his plans for redevelopment of the mall, including addition of a Costco store and gas station. The plans were previewed last nite by representatives from several neighborhoods and overall the reaction was very positive. Please come out and see his proposal and give him feedback. Shamrock Middle School is located at 3100 Mount Olive Drive. Thursday May 15, 2008

The Clairmont Heights Civic Association Annual Meeting is scheduled for May 15, @ 7pm at North Decatur Presbyterian Church (across Medlock Rd. from Melton's). Topics to include status of Medlock Park, PATH status and more. A new board will be elected and proof of residency within our boundaries will be required to vote. Thursday May 22, 2008

A meeting has been scheduled with Super District Commissioner Kathie Gannon, District 2 Commissioner Jeff Rader and DeKalb County Roads and Drainage Director John Gurbal, for May 22 at North Decatur Presbyterian Church to discuss traffic control(not traffic-calming) measures in the quadrant bounded by: Clairmont Rd~N. Druid Hills Rd.~Lawrenceville Hwy~N. Decatur Rd. Thursday June 5, 2008
