From a neighbor: We live at 835 Willivee Drive and our pet African Grey bird, London, got spooked and flew away today, Sunday Oct 10, around 2 pm. The Medlock Park ball fields are just below our home and we saw her glide down through the woods and searched for hours in the woods and below at the park. She is not able to fly; her wings are clipped. She is able to glide down on the wind. We were told by a few people that they saw the bird in the open field to the left of the park as you are pulling into the parking lot. Again, we searched and searched but to no avail. She has flown off before and always responds to our voice. This time we never heard a peep. We think that perhaps someone found her and is keeping her safe until they can locate her family. If you are able to send and email blast to help us locate her, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Martin and Kelli Shields
