Clairmont Heights Civic Association

The DeKalb County Parks Bond & Greenspace Office is now part of the new Natural Resources Management Office (NRMO) within DeKalb County Public Works. Our responsibilities have expanded beyond land acquisition into natural resource management in parks as well as other county-owned land. We will continue to work closely with Watershed Management, Sanitation, Parks and Recreation, Facilities Management, and Public Works to develop policies and programs related to water resources, forests, invasive species, land use, fisheries, wildlife, community gardens, historic resources, environmental education, and trails. Working with community groups and volunteers will be a major focus of the office and I look forward to working with all of you in the coming months.
