From our friend and Laurel Ridge neighbor Dan Magee: "In our commission district, District 2, there is only one full county rec center, Briarwood, on the far west side of District 2 next to the Atlanta line. For the Mason Mill Park master plan, we really, really need a rec center on this side of the district with a gymnasium, whether for aerobics, senior activities, special events, youth basketball, volleyball and indoor soccer, basketball for old farts like me, etc. If you could, please go to the county website for Mason Mill, and fill out the comments section and ask for a gym at Mason Mill:

We have 140,000 people in our district, and one county gym. The other district have three or four county gymnasiums."
