From Bike Emory: Want to do something to make biking better at Emory? Help Bike Emory count bikes! Knowing how many bicycles come to campus each day will help Bike Emory advocate for cycling improvements to the roads around Emory. On Wednesday, April 21st at 10 am volunteers will meet at the Dobbs University Center (DUC) to get instructions and a detailed list of bike rack locations in an area of campus. Volunteers will then go to count the bikes parked in their assigned zone. Two volunteers for each area is needed, one to count in the morning (10 am) and one for the afternoon (2 pm), and this activity should take no longer than an hour for each volunteer. Volunteers will be rewarded with a cool Bike Emory shirt! For more event details and to sign up, please email Cassandra Webster at clwebst@emory.edu.
