A local resident received notice in their mail box that N. Decatur Road between Scott Blvd and Claremont/Clairmont Rd will be repaved on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday May 11-13. "The notice reports that the road will be practically blocked and they will be using black tar as an asphalt adhesive which can damage cars if driven through."  The resident called the City of Decatur Public Works department, who confirmed that this work would be done (weather permitting).  This might cause a spike in cut-through commuter traffic.
