From MANA: Neighbors Report Incidents of Aggressive Loose Dogs in Medlock Area. Reported by a several MANA members near Medlock Road and Wood Trail on 6/9/10-- Several MANA neighbors reported incidents with two aggressive dogs loose on Wednesday morning this week. One was a brown and black brindled pit bull and the other was a smaller brown dog. Both had collars and they were seen at the corner of Woodridge and Medlock. When these dogs made aggressive advances at people and other dogs the neighbors called animal control and the police as well as reported it to MANA. Fortunately, no one reported any injuries to us. At this time the dog's owner also has been identified.

While these dogs now seem to be contained, we have learned that they may have been involved in previous incidents that may not have led to their containment within a secured setting. Please just be extra cautious with your children and your own pets and be sure to report any loose animals showing aggression to animal control and police ASAP.
