Special Trillium Walk |
![]() |
This coming Sunday, April 17, join George Sanko for a Trillim Walk through the garden from 2:30 to 4:00pm. Georgia is home to more Trilliums than any other state and many of them are in our garden so don't miss this opportunity to see our native Trilliums as well as many others. As an added bonus the native Azaleas are blooming so it's a really neat time to see the garden. We hope you take advantage of this great opportunity to see and enjoy the Trilliums at the garden this Sunday, 2:30 to 4:00 pm.
Plant Sales are also open during this time, 2:30 to 4:00pm. See our great selection of Trilliums as well as many other native plants including native Azaleas. We accept only cash and personal checks for payment.
Spring 2011 Lunch and Wildflower Series Continues
This coming Wednesday, April 20, Dave Funderburk will let us in on the "Weeds and Wildflowers in the Neighborhood". Dave is always a delight and very informative.
The following Wednesday, April 27, Don Jacobs joins us with his talk "Plants for changing times".
This year talks are being held in a new campus building SH, room SH-1500. This building is beyond the greenhouses. Directions will be posted at the garden. A link to the entire series is provided below. A link to the campus map (Directions and maps) is on the native garden homepage.
Spring Plant Sales
While we don't have a sale this Saturday, we do have the Trillium Sale on Sunday from 2:30 to 4:00 pm and, of course, Plant Sales are open from 10:00 to 2:00pm on Wednesdays. We accept only cash and personal checks for payment.
