Still On - Meeting signs were stolen, but meeting still on
The Clairmont Heights Civic Association Annual Meeting is scheduled for May 15, @ 7pm at North Decatur Presbyterian Church (across Medlock Rd. from Melton's). Topics to include status of Medlock Park, PATH status and more. A new board will be elected and proof of residency within our boundaries will be required to vote.
Our yardsigns that were placed earlier this week were stolen, so if you know who has them, we'd appreciate their return. The leadership of the Three Forks Alliance assures us that they had nothing to do with the theft and have put out a note to their membership requesting the return of the signs. Three Forks will be putting out new signs of their own for upcoming meetings, and I hope they will be left alone, just as ours should have been.
"Membership in the Association shall be drawn from residents within or immediately adjacent to the area bounded by: Clairmont Road to the west, N. Decatur Road to the south, Willivee Drive to the east, the CSX railway line to the north and along Willivee Drive to the Ga. Power line and including Willivee Place, and Medlock Park to the northeast including Scott Circle north of Desmond Drive. Willivee Drive and Scott Circle also fall within the boundaries of the Medlock Area Neighborhood Association by mutual agreement."
Bumperstickers will be handed out to all attendees. If you can't make the meeting, extra bumperstickers will be available for pickup from Tim and Catherine at 855 N. Superior, while they last...
