Friends,
I am writing to announce my formal resignation from the board of Clairmont Heights Civic Association and the posts of Corresponding Secretary & Listserve Manager. I have taken a new full-time job in downtown Atlanta, and with additional family demands on my time, I need to withdraw from the positions. Tim Bryson, who has done such a wonderful job revamping and updating our website, has been doing the listserve as well for the past couple of weeks and has been doing a great job. Per CHCA bylaws, the board will appoint a new Corresponding Secretary at their next meeting. If anybody hungers for the job(which doesn't have to include being listserve manager), I'm sure they would be glad to talk to any volunteers.
I greatly appreciate the involvement of this and previous boards in the running of our association and have truly enjoyed corresponding with all of you for the several years that I've been doing the listserve. Please volunteer for YOUR association. It can be a very rewarding experience...
