Greetings,   Neighbors

Need for Volunteers

MANA depends on our wonderful volunteers to carry out activities for the community.  Right now we have an immediate need  for help with hanging  out the MANA holiday wreaths in the neighborhood.  If you can help with this,  please contact Beverly Monroe at bevmonroe@juno.com.

There are many other ways in which you can help MANA and your community.  Please check out the MANA website -  www.medlockpark.org  -  and click on the volunteer tab to find out more information about MANA and volunteer opportunities.

Update on Suburban Plaza

Since the meeting at NDPC on November 2, MANA was involved with a meeting with 17 neighborhood representatives from 8 different neighborhoods (including the two condo associations that border Suburban Plaza) attend as well as Commissioner Rader, Commissioner Gannon, Davis Fox and Caroline Enloe.

Other information is posted on the MANA website -  www.medlockpark.org -

Please check there for future updates.

Melton's App and Tap

Please  check out  the MANA website -
www.medlockpark.org - for  updates on one of our favorite places.  MANA board members attended the hearing on November 23 during which Judge Coursey ruled that Pet Supermarket could reopen.

Also the Medlock Park Neighbors Facebook page and Keep Melton's Open Facebook page have information and comments from neighbors.  (These pages are managed by neighbors and not by MANA.)

On those pages you will also see where our neighbor Andrea Greengard,  who brought us the Pet Registry, has also worked to set up a way we can buy t shirts supporting Melton's.  A portion of the purchase price will go to Melton's.
