Weekend Events for District 2
Clyde Shepherd Saturday Workday Postponed
This Saturday's Volunteer Day is being postponed until later this month when we will combine it with an Eagle Scout group who will be helping us to clean up the front of the preserve. We are going to chip the wood piles from the cut down invasive privet trees and storm damage. We will also be mulching the trails and doing some weeding of our native Polkweed (which despite its native plant status needs to cut back some) but birders don't worry we will leave plenty to feed the birds with it's berries. Hey, some of you birders need to come out and give us a hand on a workday too! More info to follow, thanks for supporting your local nature preserve which remember, does not receive any government funding or help and is supported only by volunteers and donations.
