From district 1 commissioner Elaine Boyer's newsletter: Dunwoody Nature Center is pleased to announce the return of everyone's favorite day in Dunwoody Park as the Butterfly festival makes its return this year on Saturday, August 18th. Mark your calendars for a day of great activities including a Birds of Prey show, games, crafts, music, food, drinks, and, of course, the magical butterfly tent filled with hundreds of nature's most beautiful and delicate species. Early member preview begins at 9:00 with general admission at 10:00. This is a rain or shine event. Admissions are $8 for adults, $5 for kids ages 4-12 and free for children 3 and under. Read more.
