Voter Education & Voter Registration Training Workshops

From the County CEO's office:General Election is November 6, 2012. October 8, 2012 is Cut-off date to register.  In Person early advance voting is October 15 - November 2.   Voter Education & Voter Registration Training Workshop,  Monday, September 17, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, 4380 Memorial Drive, Suite 300 in Decatur.

 

PART I

6:00 - 7:00 pm  

Learn the when, why, and how of voting. This forum will provide information on the following topics:

  • Summary of changes in voting laws
  • Voter ID requirements
  • Absentee voting & early voting
  • Election dates
  • and many more!       

A voting booth will also be set up during training to enable trainees to become familiar with its usage. 

  

PART II

7:00 - 8:00 pm 

Learn how to assist individuals with registering to vote. This training will provide you with an overview of the necessary rules and procedures.   

Training materials will be provided.
