Two Weeks In, Nearly A Quarter-Million Georgians Have Voted Early
With the second full week of early voting nearing an end, the Georgia Secretary of State's office says that more than 220,000 voters have cast early votes for the historic November 4th General Election.
As of the close of business Thursday, October 2nd, 223,787 Georgians have voted early either in person at their local county elections office or by mail.
DeKalb County continues to lead the state with 24,425 of their residents voting early. Fulton, Gwinnett, Cobb and Chatham counties round out the top five highest performing early voting areas in Georgia.
Below is a demographic breakdown of the state-wide early voting turn out numbers:
