We invite residents to upload photos of the snow (or dogs or flowers or whatever is appropriate to share).
There are currently three options.
- You can email us at info [AT] clairmontheights.org and attach the photos and we'll upload them to the site for you.
- You could email us links to individual photos on Flickr together with a description, and we'll embed them in a page.
- Upload directly to our website. In order for us to prevent spammers from using the site, you need to create an account on the website with a verifiable email address and to log in. If you haven't registered before, click on "create new account" on the lower left. After you've completed the process, you'll see on the left panel the option to "Add Content." Click there then click "Create Photo Post."
- You'll see a form for entering a title for your photo(s) and a description. We suggest you add your name at the top or bottom of the description.
- After entering that information, go below the Description section to the Image section where it says New Upload and click "Browse" to select the photo file on your computer. Then click Upload in the next line.
- Add a description in the Description field. This will appear under the photo in the slideshow.
- To add another photo, go to the next New Upload section.
- Click "Save" at the bottom when you're done.
A thumbnail version of the first image will appear next to short version of the description on the front page. When people click on the title or the photo, they'll be taken to the full post and when they click on a photo there, they get to see them full-size and/or in a slideshow format (requires javascript to be enabled in their browser).
To see how the slideshow works, click on any of the attached photos. Images here show Kitsu the dog, North Superior Ave, the South Peachtree Creek Trail at intersection of Willivee Drive and Scott Circle, and Burnt Fork Creek viewed from the stone bridge. Photos by Catherine Larson.
