CHCA Annual Meeting Thursday May 14

Event Date and Time:
05/14/2009 - 7:00pm

The Clairmont Heights Civic Association Annual Meeting is scheduled for May 14, 7pm at North Decatur Presbyterian Church (across Medlock Rd. from Melton's). Agenda tentatively will include status of local redevelopments, Garden Club, transportation plan, sidewalks, and board elections.

We invited representatives from Emory's Clifton Corridor Partnership, county board of commissioners, county transportation department, county greenspace office, Clyde Shepherd Nature Preserve, City of Decatur Recreation, county park planners, and the Dresden East Civic Association (re. the county's community policing program). As of May 13, Emory, the BOC and Transportation responded they were unable to attend.

A new board will be elected and proof of residency within our boundaries will be required to vote. Members are invited to submit nominations -- whether of themselves or others -- to serve on the board as elected officials (president, vice president, treasurer, corresponding secretary, recording secretary) or on committees as volunteers (parks, transportation, zoning and others as required). Please email ahead of time to info@clairmontheights.org

"Membership in the Association shall be drawn from residents within or immediately adjacent to the area bounded by: Clairmont Road to the west, N.
