Update Feb. 2, 2010 from a resident : Dekalb Police report that "the robber(s) have been caught robbing a bank with our neighbor's car as the getaway car. Suspects will be tried in Federal Court since it was a bank robbery."

From the MANA Neighborhood Watch: "Details are still emerging, but here is what I know so far..."A neighbor on Ava Pl just called to tell me that a well dressed black man walked up her driveway last night as she was pulling in, put a gun in her face and demanded her car keys which she gave him. The police came and took a report. All I know at this point.." I have contacted the Dekalb PD for more details. This is very rare for our neighborhood, but please be aware of your surroundings and report anything that looks suspicious to 911 with details. " Matt Ribbens
